VantoTrade runs a monthly demo trading contest that lets you trade on a demo account with no personal capital at risk. The top three traders by final balance win prizes of up to $250 each month. This guide explains how the contest works, what the prizes are, and what you need to know before you register.
📑 Table of Contents
VantoTrade Monthly Trading Contest Prizes
The contest rewards the three traders who finish with the highest account balance. Prize money is paid as trading balance into a live account, so winners receive value they can use on a real trading account rather than a simple cash transfer.
- 1st place: $250
- 2nd place: $125
- 3rd place: $75
Who Qualifies for a Prize
Winning on the leaderboard is only the first step. Winners must complete full KYC verification and take part in a short interview. The VantoTrade team contacts winners directly to confirm eligibility and arrange payout details.
Prize payouts depend on the post-contest review, so the final amounts are only confirmed once that review is complete. Until then, treat the prize values as the published tiers, not as settled payments.
Live Standings
The live leaderboard shows the top 10 traders during the contest week. At the time of this update, the total number of participants was 111. Checking the standings can help you understand where you sit relative to others.
It is also easy to overreact to small swings in ranking. Rankings can move quickly on a single trade, so focus on your own process rather than reacting to every change.

VantoTrade Contest Rules
Everything in this section applies before you join the Monthly Trading Contest. Read it carefully, because breaking any rule can lead to disqualification.
How the Contest Works
Each month, VantoTrade runs a one-week demo trading contest. Trading starts on Sunday at 00:05 and ends on Friday at 23:45, MT5 Server Time. Each person may enter only once per month.
The contest week follows the U.S. Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) Friday schedule, which is a useful reminder that the timing is tied to a major economic release. You can read more about the NFP report on the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics website.
Registration
To enter, you need a registered Client Portal account. Then follow these steps:
- Log in to the Client Portal.
- Go to MT5 Accounts and choose Add Account.
- Select Demo, then pick MT5 Demo Contest from the list.
Registration closes on Thursday at 23:45, MT5 Server Time. Duplicate entries and multiple registrations are disqualified, so make sure you only register once.
The Contest Account
VantoTrade provides the MT5 demo account for the contest. Each account starts with the following settings:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Starting balance | $1,000 |
| Leverage | 1:200 |
| Maximum trade size | 0.10 lots |
Only the symbols shown in the MT5 trading platform can be traded during the contest.
Trading Rules
The contest is built around manual trading. The key rules are:
- Trading is manual only. Expert Advisors, scripts, trade copiers, copy trading services, automated tools, semi-automated tools and algorithmic execution are not allowed.
- Trades must be placed from your own personal device. VPS use, remote desktops, dedicated servers and cloud-hosted trade execution are not allowed.
- Only one position may be open at a time across all instruments. Pending orders count once they are triggered.
- There is no cap on the number of trades you can place.
- The maximum trade size is 0.10 lots.
- All positions must be closed by Friday at 23:45, MT5 Server Time.

Fair Play, One Person One Account, and Coordination
The contest is designed to reward individual trading skill. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage can result in disqualification.
Each participant may trade on only one contest account. Multiple contest accounts, whether opened directly or through someone else, are not allowed. If VantoTrade finds linked accounts tied to the same person or group, all related accounts can be disqualified.
Participants may not coordinate trades in any way. This includes:
- Opening opposite positions across different contest accounts to lock in gains on one account
- Matching trade entries, exits or edits between accounts
- Sharing contest login details with another person
- Any other cooperation meant to manipulate rankings
All accounts involved in coordinated trading are disqualified.
Monitoring and Enforcement
VantoTrade uses monitoring systems to spot unusual activity, including multiple accounts, automated trading, coordinated strategies and banned infrastructure use. Monitoring runs throughout the contest and during the post-contest review. The methods, tools and review criteria are private.
VantoTrade can ask for more verification at any time. If a participant does not respond within the given time, the account is disqualified.
Winner Selection and Prize Conditions
Winners are ranked by the highest account balance at the end of the contest. Open trades at the finish do not count, so close your positions before the deadline. Final rankings are only confirmed after the review period ends.
To receive a VantoTrade prize, winners must:
- Pass full KYC verification as a client
- Agree to a short written or verbal interview
- Allow publication of the contest account login, trade history, country and name initial
Prizes are credited as trading balance to a real account. VantoTrade can withhold or remove prizes if rule violations are found at any point.
Grounds for Disqualification
A participant may be disqualified for any of the following:
- Operating multiple contest accounts or being linked to them
- Using Expert Advisors, scripts, bots or any other form of automated trading
- Trading from a VPS, remote desktop, dedicated server or cloud-hosted setup
- Coordinating trades with other participants, including hedging across accounts
- Sharing contest account credentials
- Failing to reply to a verification request within the required time
- Any other behavior VantoTrade believes harms the fairness or integrity of the contest
Disqualification decisions are made by VantoTrade alone, are final and cannot be appealed.
Important Notes
This is a demo trading contest only, so no real money is used to compete. Trading results do not reflect real-market performance, and a strong demo result does not predict live outcomes.
VantoTrade can change the rules or stop the contest at any time. By registering, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to the full terms. If you are comparing other demo competitions, the demo contest category on this site covers other options and their rules.
