Is Valetax regulated and safe?

The client-facing entity Valetax International Limited holds an Investment Dealer licence from the FSC Mauritius (GB21026312). Mauritius is a recognised but lighter-touch jurisdiction: it requires capital and reporting, but it does not offer an investor compensation scheme like the UK FSCS or the EU ICF. The second company, Valetax Global Limited, is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines; the SVG FSA does not license or supervise forex brokers, so this entity adds no regulatory protection.

Some older broker listings mention a South African FSCA licence for Valetax. We could not find Valetax in the FSCA register in November 2026, so we do not count it. In short: Valetax is a licensed offshore broker — acceptable for small, risk-capital accounts, but not comparable with a CySEC-, FCA- or ASIC-regulated firm.

Account types

  • Cent — from $1, balances shown in cents, ideal for testing strategies and EAs with real execution; leverage up to 1:1000.
  • Standard — from $10, commission-free, spreads include the broker mark-up.
  • PRO — tighter spreads, no commission, higher minimum.
  • ECN — raw spreads plus a $4 commission per standard lot round turn ($2 per side), the best choice for scalpers and high-volume traders.
  • Booster — promotional account type linked to deposit bonus campaigns.

Swap-free (Islamic) conditions are available on request. As with all high-leverage accounts, a small move against you can wipe out the margin quickly — Valetax applies negative balance protection, but you should still use a stop-loss.

Trading costs

On the ECN account the all-in cost for one lot of EUR/USD is the raw spread plus $4. On the commission-free accounts the cost is built into the spread and is higher. Overnight swaps apply to positions held past the daily rollover, and the triple swap is charged on Wednesdays for most forex pairs.

Platforms and tools

Valetax offers both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, so Expert Advisors, custom indicators and one-click trading are fully supported. A copy-trading area lets you follow other traders, and the mobile app combines account management (deposits, withdrawals, verification) with trading.

Deposits, withdrawals and bonuses

Funding options include bank cards, local bank transfers and e-wallets in many Asian and African countries, plus USDT and other cryptocurrencies. Valetax regularly runs deposit bonuses and trading contests; bonus credit normally cannot be withdrawn and comes with volume conditions, so read the promotion terms before you accept it.

Pros and cons

  • ✔ Very low minimum deposit and a real Cent account
  • ✔ ECN account with a competitive $4 round-turn commission
  • ✔ MT4 and MT5, copy trading, many local payment methods
  • ✖ Only an offshore (FSC Mauritius) licence — no compensation scheme
  • ✖ Short track record (since 2023)
  • ✖ Very high leverage increases the risk for beginners

Verdict

Valetax is a cost-efficient option for traders with small accounts who understand offshore regulation. Start with the Cent account, test withdrawals early, and keep only the capital you actively trade with the broker.

Facts checked: November 2026. Broker conditions, bonuses and leverage change often and depend on the entity you open your account with — always confirm them on the broker’s official website and in your client agreement before you deposit.

Risk warning: CFDs and leveraged forex are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
